Hi,

Is there any domain registrar which offers free email accounts anymore? I don’t care for the forwarding thing, as when I reply to a client, I want it to be from my business account, rather than personal.

Is 1&1 the cheapest way of doing this – 69p a month currently. But, I’d prefer free, as that £8 or so a year adds up and annoys me – cos email should be free!

Gary, did you go straight to netfirms.com and expect to get the discount?

You are suppose to click on the special link above and not simply go direct to Netfirms.com – more like an exclusive unadvertised promotion. I got 17 domains from them and saved like $50 in total. A great savings. Now I just need a good hosting which allows multiple domains at a reasonable price. Any suggestions?

netfirms is not honoring ANY of the pricing you have listed. Netfirms will not even honor the prices on THEIR OWN WEBSITE!!!!!!

Kathleen .. I have sent ICANN reports of NS doing this and
also monitoring the registrar available fields from Godaddy
to Moniker. they don’t give a sh*T..

unless everyone raises hell with ICANN.
want to see improvement then start a blog / target ICANN
…for every language!

How about a registar who doesn’t “auction” your domain name to third parties in foreign countries BEFORE its expired so they can hold it for ransom? You know the one {hint: NS} that simultaneously keeps you thinking your domain name has not expired by keeping it in your account manager with an expiration date a year into the future but when your website goes offline suddenly and you call they tell you the account number next to the expiration date is different! Any registars where you actually OWN your domain names and not just rent???

Don't cancel. Just transfer to a different registrar that offers WHOIS protection for .COMs like Netfirms or Godaddy (need to register at least 5 domains with if you want free whois protection with Godaddy).

Maybe not, but why I can not buy domain name with your company more then 1 year? Looks like there is some catch
